Every pile is built to a recipe, turned on a schedule, held at temperature, and checked under a microscope before it goes anywhere. That is the difference between compost that adds biology and compost that just adds bulk.

EnquireHow it is made
A hot pile is built to a carbon-to-nitrogen ratio, not thrown together. Ours are assembled in layered quarter-rounds from measured greens, browns, and high-nitrogen material — then turned on schedule and monitored by temperature until the thermophilic phase is genuinely complete.
Getting hot enough matters: it is what handles weed seed and pathogens. Coming back down properly matters just as much — that is when the fungi, protozoa, and nematodes move back in. Compost pulled too early is just chopped material.
